           Remember the ``Deep Space Nine'' episode in which Avery Brooks
stares at the viewscreen, shaking and wiggling his body long after his
co-stars have stopped gyrating?
           Nana Visitor, who plays Kira on ``DS9,'' sure does. It's one of
her favorite bloopers, the kind of laugh-out-loud flub the public generally
never sees.
           ``I wish we had a blooper reel. There have been so many
hysterical screw-ups, but the one with Mr. Brooks has to be the best,'' she
says.
           ``Everybody was in a triangle formation in Ops, with Avery at the
point.
           ``When the station was attacked, everybody had to shake through
the whole scene. Avery didn't hear them say, `Stop shaking on this
particular line.'
           ``He was in front and couldn't see us, but we could see him. The
line came, and we all stopped shaking, except Avery. It was one of the
funniest things I ever saw.
           ``He kept shaking, and we all kept watching him. He's a very good
shaker. I tortured him for days after that.''
