I noticed someone had asked about white 221K's coming with black foot
controllers? Mine is an all-original C-8 to -9 machine that has a
permanently connected foot controller/power cord (non-removable, connects
inside the machine) that is all black. This is original and shows such in
the manual. All other people I know with such machine is like mine. I am
sure there might be variations maybe depending upon the year made, but this
is typical from what I have seen.
I figure there might be people out there that would try to paint a black
one white for better resale (?), but it would be obvious if it weren't a
true 221K. The white ones have a shorter bed extension, for one. There are
other differences inside, too. And of course, the cases have one latch and
are green/cream. My latch is one variety that has a key to lock it. I know
some did not have a locking mechanism.
I just thought I would throw in some facts to help others that might be
wanting to buy a white one.
